I provide speech and/or language services to students on IEP's and specific interventions. My students have a variety of needs. They work on learning to say new sounds, categorization, wh-questions, comparing and contrasting, conversation skills, expressing their basic wants and needs and so many more things. Students on my caseload have various diagnoses such as: autism, specific learning disabilities, intellectually disabled, language impaired, and speech impairment. Over 50% of the students at my school receive free/discounted lunch. The students are eager to learn and communicate. They strive to reach their goals and they love positive feedback. Some days are tougher than others, but no day is ever boring.
