My students are eager 3rd graders. They are extremely hardworking and determined to be successful inside and outside of the classroom. My students are motivated learners and actively participate in expanding their own knowledge. They come from a school that is culturally diverse with a strong sense of community. My students enjoy reading, writing, math, science, and art. They are fascinated with technology and are very savvy. As an educator, I strive to provide every student with the opportunity for personal, academic learning each and every day. My school has adopted the Common Core Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards. I have been actively researching and gathering materials and curriculum to prepare them for success.
