This year, we have 90 amazing second-grade students who come to school everyday wanting to learn. My students come from a multitude of backgrounds. My school is located in an urban setting with a low-economic population. Students come from surrounding neighborhoods in a five mile radius. My students come to school with lots of energy and excitement for learning! They love to try new things and face each challenge head on! We start each day with the promise to expect the best in all I do and to learn all I can, and they truly live up to this promise!
