My students are writing fiction stories daily. We need a place to house all of the various paper choices that will help them achieve their writing plans. The rainbow cart will help to organize our guided reading books. Each drawer will have books that are geared towards each student's reading level where they can reference and practice while working in small groups with the teacher. This year we are beginning a new phonics program where the students will be broken into small groups based on their needs. To support the students I will be doing more group work. The students will benefit from the use of small magnetic whiteboards that would allow them to manipulate letters to spell words. It will make their learning interactive and exciting. Lastly, my classroom is made up of students with various learning styles. Providing students with different seating choices will help them to be more engaged in their learning and comfortable within the classroom.
