I have read that flexible seating in the classroom encourages more positive engagement because children learn better when they are in control of their own environment. Flexible seating also gives students the opportunity to have more meaningful cooperative learning experiences. I am very excited to start this new journey and experience all the wonderful benefits that I keep hearing about flexible seating in the classroom!
The Hokki stools would be a wonderful addition to my classroom, as I transition to a flexible seating environment. The Hokki Stools would allow my more active students to move while learning, especially during guided reading and writing times. The other seats that I would like to add to my classroom would give all of my students the opportunity to select a seat that is more comfortable for their own learning experiences. I have faith that this new change will help my students become more focused and make my job even more enjoyable than it already is!
