These flexible seating options will be utilized within the classroom to enhance student learning. They will provide my students a choice of seating to meet their individual needs. Many students require some type of movement to keep them on task. Each of these seating options provides a student with some type of movement, from wiggling to rocking. Other options are meant for comfort and a change of pace from their regular desk and chair seating option. After a year spent at home or in a hybrid model, students needs choices and flexible seating options. Students are returning to a normal, every day school schedule and will need options to make them feel comfortable and safe after a year of inconsistencies. These seating options will help to provide such comfort, and help students to stay focused throughout group and independent activities.
