Our students, who attend a Title 1 school in a high-poverty area in North Carolina, are eager learners. Like other kids around the U.S., they have dreams and ambitions, which are severely impacted by the limited resources at their disposal. Our students rely heavily on their school, teachers, and the community for school materials. Despite what they are given, these hard-working kids deserve so much more! By integrating theatre/drama into the curriculum, students are not only becoming little performers, but are learning communication skills, expression, and increasing their fluency.

About my class
