My students are currently uncomfortable on the music room floor and because of this many struggle to remain focussed. In order to allow for movement activities, we need a large open space and having this carpet for seating will allow for this! This music carpet will serve as a central location for student learning and activities. Students will have a place to sit for instruction, stories, and lesson presentations. Having a large circle rug will greatly help with movement activities and folk dances. The staff in the center will also allow for instruction in reading musical notation through student interactions.
