This is Ms. Siy's high school science classroom at the Albany International Center which serves immigrant and refugee students from all over the world including Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, Congo, Rwanda, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela, Mexico, Burma and many more. AIC was closed last year due to COVID, but now the school is open in a new location. Most students lack basic school supplies and rely on the generosity of others to provide the basic tools required for a good education.

About my class
