Students of today are different than how many of us grew up - going to school, all day, sitting in a square desk with a plastic or even metal chair under our rumps, never a second thought to alternatives. Today's children should have the option to work where they are most comfortable, just like adults do! Why are children's needs any less important than ours? Let's help them out! Doesn't a floor pad or a large, vinyl square or even a chair that you can move up and down sound SO much better? Focus and concentration is a major need in school, but especially so for many of my students. If only we could've had those opportunities in school, how much better would our experiences have been?
