I have fifteen young adventures who have come to love and explore history. I have six ESOL students who have grasped the love of reading with Jack and Annie. They have been writing to the text and it has really shown me how much they are learning. My students need sets of Magic Tree House books along with recorded versions on CD to improve literacy and comprehension in small group literacy circles and listening centers. I would love to add some research guides to incorporate more nonfiction and using the CDs at listening centers will also help my English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students have the change to listen to the stories at their pace.
