My students must keep up with the demands of technology and what is expected of them as they move through their learning journey. Besides learning the basics of reading and writing. Students are learning to navigate and use effectively the technology around them. In a small learning community in the quaint utopia of farmland students with limit access to computers are thrusted into state expectations on technology navigation. Giving students the ability to learn beyond the classroom and build skills they will need for the future is what these Chromebooks will be used for. It is paving the way for 21st century learners who need skills for jobs not yet created.
