I am a speech-language pathologist for K-4th graders in New York City. I am in need of more speech and language games and materials. I typically use worksheets, but from experience working with these children, have learned that they are more receptive to hands-on activities. They are more motivated to learn while they are having fun! Some fun, new activities for my students would help motivate them to excel in their speech and language goals. I am asking for comprehension and inferencing tools, as these are areas my students often struggle in. Additionally, I am asking for classification and naming activities to assist my students in vocabulary acquisition and use. Providing my students with these activities, will allow them to work on their speech and language goals while having fun at the same time. For my students, these skills take a lot of hard work, and using exciting new games could help ease the pressure of elementary school!
