The demographics of our school changed has dramatically; we now have 53% free/reduced lunch. The school is made up of all socioeconomic students, many from low income housing. Oftentimes, we need to ask for money from our PTO to help fund things for our classrooms. I have a maxed out size class of 18 third graders. These students find seating in traditional desks challenging and I continually look for ways to get them motivated to learn.
