It is my dream as a new first grade teacher to establish an inviting and comfortable environment for my students! By providing alternative seating in the classrooms, studies have shown that students are more engaged and focused in class. Instead of sitting at a desk all day, students have the opportunity to experience a variety of seating options! Flexible classroom seating allows students to choose where they learn BEST! Colorful bean bag chairs will enhance our reading corner, sturdy stools will brighten up our small group reading table, wiggle chairs will provide support for active students, chair bands will assist with fidgety feet, and colorful bins will add organization to our reading corner! Because of your generosity, my students will benefit from this non-traditional yet productive classroom experience!
