The objective of our Letters alive Program is to help beginning and at-risk students improve their literacy skills while staying engaged, so they can learn to read at grade level and increase their reading comprehension, and reading attention span. This system can be used either in the classroom or at home through online learning. The Letters alive Program provides students with access to the advanced technology of augmented reality. Studies show that students who typically have attention difficulties were consistently engrossed in the program. The students responded to the animals because of the sound and visual stimulation. We expect to see dramatic improvements with most of the students increasing their reading ability significantly.
