Many of my third-grade students come from poverty-stricken homes. For many of them, my classroom is their happy place. It is my goal to provide them with an environment that will motivate them to work harder and push themselves to do their best. Having these materials in my classroom will allow my students to come together as a community, be ready to learn, and enhance their learning experience. It is my job to provide my students learning experiences that will keep them engaged. If my students have access to this learning center and the clipboards when they are learning, it will provide them exactly what they need. They love learning on the carpet and coming together as a community. Having this learning center will no doubt enhance their learning experience. All students should have the opportunity to participate in lessons other than at their desks. My students and I would be extremely thankful and appreciative to have this learning center as well as the clipboards in our classroom!
