Many of my students have trouble staying focused during tasks that are not active. If they feel comfortable in their seating, then they would be much more likely to focus. Students should have the opportunity to be comfortable while they are learning. My students have had a chance to try these stools. We have one in our classroom, but we could use more. By adding wobble stools to my classroom, my students will learn to succeed in an academic setting with the right supports. Someday they will move on from high school, and they will have learned what type of seating is ideal for their learning. Over time the students will learn how to self-advocate for the items they need, like a chair that suits their learning needs.
