In our classroom it is all about community. Supporting each other is top priority. If a student feels supported by not only their teacher, but their classmates, it creates a safe place to explore new ideas and experiences. It will also hopefully inspire them to be comfortable to work on their own weaknesses while helping classmates with theirs. It is my goal to introduce students to new and unique experiences in the classroom. We explore new cultures, different approaches to learning, including the way we sit, as well as they way we interact with each other. My hope is that school becomes a safe place that students want to be where learning happens naturally rather than a place they have to be.

About my class
