As a growing learner with special needs, students often rely on adults to guide them and give them the correct responses. With the addition of the Power Pens and Hot Dots, students will build their independence by self checking their own responses. With the scaffold-ed levels, students will be able to build their confidence by using these books and cards on their learning level, rather than their grade level. This would enhance our center time, with an independent station that is interactive, rather than just a typical worksheet. Keeping students engaged is so critical for the success of students, and with these books, engagement will be higher than ever before! But most importantly, their independence will grow as well!

About my class
