The materials and supplies that I am asking to be donated to our classroom will be used by students all day every day to aid them in their learning. As energetic young students, my students need an environment conducive to their needs. The donations to this project will allow me to fully create an environment where my students can better focus their attention on learning and growing! The items that I am asking to be donated to my classroom include ball chairs, wobble cushions, colorful stools, soft cushions, and foot fidget chair bands for students to use while seated during class. These items will be used every day in our classroom while students are seated and working to grow academically. Through allowing flexible seating options in our second-grade classroom, students will benefit in a number of ways. Students will have an appropriate way to exude their excess energy, creating fewer behavior problems taking away from learning in our classroom. Another benefit students will have with these flexible seating options is that flexible seating will allow for increased engagement. This increased engagement in learning will allow for my students to be more successful in the classroom.
