My children love to come to school, they need to be listened to and valued. Science is a great learning tool in so many ways. So many of them struggle with academic and social skills; technology can help bridge that gap. Spending time with them. Showing them by example, my own willingness to learn new things, make mistakes, and grow professionally because they are important is a step in the direction of valuing them and in their valuing themselves and succeeding. A step in the direction of building a scientifically literate world community. It all starts in the classroom. I'm trying to show them the world, so THEY can decide what to THINK about it.
