One of the most effective ways to increase students' comprehension and reading ability is through Interactive Read-Alouds. We need materials to organize this time in our classroom so we can maximize time spent learning! During our read aloud time, students sit on the carpet to not only listen to the story but also to do partner work. Whole group activities are completed by using pocket charts and chart paper to actively engage students in various activities. With the materials we are asking for, we will be able to organize this time to maximize the learning our little brains will do!
