These materials are my beginning to integrate alternative seating in my classroom. I know I love to choose someplace comfy to work and I want my students to have choice in their environment as well! Studies have shown alternative seating is a great addition to the classroom environment to meet the many different learning styles of my students. Having just known these sweet first graders for over a week, I can already tell that they love choice and NEED a quiet place to concentrate to complete their work. I look forward to seeing alternative seating integrated into my classroom soon!
