I have used alternative seating and some traditional desks on wheels for flexibility. I also got great beanbags, pillows, and wooden writing tables. I tied this to together with carpets for our 1970's tile floor. It would create a warm and welcoming environment for classroom learning at a title one school. I chose warm colors for both girls and boys - including the carpets. I want them to feel welcome as well. I also selected some triangular desks for those students who prefer a more traditional seating arrangement. The desks can be combined into tables for group work as well.
