The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams My kindergarten students are just beginning on their educational path and developing a love of learning. My students are loving, curious, compassionate, capable, and oh so silly! They come from a variety of backgrounds, and are a part of a community that values strong home-school connections and strives to help all students reach their full potential. My students love to read and be read to. Through rich literature they are exposed to different cultures, places, social situations and valuable life lessons. Stories have the ability to take them to places unknown, spark their imaginations, and help to build connections with their peers and community.
