My students and I are firmly in the land of fourth grade this year! I took over a class of third graders last year after a year away from the classroom working as the reading intervention teacher for my school. We will stay together through fifth grade. The classroom picture is my students acting out a story during retell, one of their favorite parts of their day. My students participate in a challenging Waldorf Inspired curriculum that features stories, art, movement, music and recitation across all subject areas. They can stand in front of their class (or school) and confidently perform what they have learned and create beautiful Main Lesson books that further synthesize that knowledge. Besides me, they have the benefit of specials teachers who bring Choir, Band, Art, Spanish, Games and Gardening to their rich classroom experience.
