Many of my students live in apartments or places where they can't get outside to play or ride tricycles or bikes. When we borrowed some tricycles, many didn't know how to ride them. I want to teach them how to pedal, ride, safety, and eventually use the tricycles as a build up to developing a bike club. I want to teach them that riding tricycles/bikes can be fun and great exercise. Eventually I would love for them to be able to have a bicycle of their own, and feel that by teaching them now at a young age, they will enjoy riding. I am hoping to be able to emphasize that being physically active is something they can do on a regular basis, and enjoy with anyone.
