I have been teaching for 20 years. I began my career in a Title I school in Brooklyn, NY where I taught for 19 years. In 2021, I decided to make some life changes and moved back to my hometown and began a new career as a Montessori teacher. I teach first - third graders and am working to incorporate STEM activities into as much of our curriculum as possible. That means keeping up with technology and filling the room with materials that spark interest and engage students of a wide age range. Every year, I get a little better at my job, I love it a little more, and, most of all I get new ideas for ways to enrich the lives of my youngsters.
