The students in my room are 13 kids who have autism or moderate intellectual impairments. My 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are children just like any other middle schooler, they just have additional challenges and different learning needs. My students love to draw, spend time with friends, play with iPads and on the computers, and listen to music.
