This anchor chart easel will be used daily in our classroom. We will use it on the rug for read alouds and use it to create lists and drawings of vocabulary words. We will also use it in our writing to brainstorm before drafting. Students will take ownership by participating to add to the easel and "be teacher for the day." We will also use it when learning new concepts. I will display bright and colorful anchor charts with visuals for key concepts like grammar skills. We will also use it in math to introduce new and complex concepts, like subtraction. Having an easel with the anchor charts and supplies (like manipulatives and markers) in one location will make learning more efficient for students. Together we'll share ideas and learning tools to help every student feel included and successful!
