Some students in middle school struggle to stay focused in reading class. Flexible seating provides a comfy, cozy environment and helps students focus. Students look forward to options and various seating styles. From there, we can build their love of reading!
Students love to read while sitting in a comfy loveseat! My current students have this option at the top of their list. They have one now, and an additional one would be magical.
I currently have an elevated table. Stools included in this project would provide a great seating option for this area.
Flexible seating has been very beneficial for my teaching style and the students' various learning styles. They get to work collaboratively in centers. They have areas for quiet reading, computers and technology, and teacher small group support. Please help keep up our classroom seating needs! I started flexible seating this year with items I purchased on my own. I would like to be able to continue provide this environment for my students.
