It's a goal in my classroom for all my children to be excited about reading. In order for this to happen, children need a variety of books that are at their level. If they only have books that are too hard, they get frustrated and give up. If they only have books that are too easy, they are not being challenged enough to bring their reading level up. Not only do children need books at their level, they also need enough books to keep them motivated all year. Every student needs to have a book box, with several books in it, that they can read from on a daily basis. My goal is for my children to see books that they are excited to add to their book box and read next after they finish the one they are currently reading!l
