My students will use their book baggies daily to hold self selected (leveled) books for independent reading. Also, the seat sacks will be used to keep their books and school supplies organized and readily available. The giant magnet math manipulates will be used both as a visual aid as well as interactive learning. The timer sets perimeters but more importantly will allow my students to become responsible for their time thereby giving them an active role in their own learning. The items will enhance the children's academic experience as well as promoting life skills such as autonomy and organization. It is extremely important that the children have an structured organized classroom that they can both learn and depend on.
