This year I will be traveling between two different classrooms to work with my diverse learners who have many different goals to work on individually. When I work with my students, I collect data in math and reading to help determine if they are meeting or not meeting their yearly and quarterly goals. We keep track of progress in order to move onto new skills. Since I will be moving to different classrooms, I need to make sure I have the proper materials in order to keep track of these goals for each student. My students and I would benefit greatly from having an iPad to monitor their progress and track goals such as mastery of letter sounds, cvc words, sight words, and many other skills using Google platforms that can be downloaded on the iPad. Having this digitally would help us stay organized and prepare us for the various IEP meetings I will be attending to review progress. In addition to tracking goals, this iPad would be used to reinforce these skills one-on-one with students who need to practice. If a student needs a break, they can use this iPad to use an app for calming exercises. It really would be a tool used for many benefits! I appreciate any support. Thank you!
