These materials will make a difference in my students' learning because my students frequently use art and color as a way to express themselves and their answers/responses. Special education classrooms are home to multiple different strengths and abilities so it is important to build on those strengths to better assist our students. Art and colors are strengths in my classroom, so I can incorporate both into my instruction by giving my students different opportunities opportunity to use crayons, colored pencils and markers. For example, I teach Mathematics so we work with a lot of equations, formulas and symbols; the students will create multiple anchor charts throughout the school year to assist with their visual learning. Using different colors also makes it easier for students to organize different information
