I teach 8 students who are identified as being on the autistic spectrum along with mental retardation. The school they attend is in Pennsylvania with a very high poverty level. We have very limited resources, but we make due and become very creative. They are all so different and I can honestly say I love my job. Together we are on a learning journey, teaching each other.
