Let's face it, school seating options are not comfortable! This year I would love to give my students options for seating that are more comfortable. Each year I notice that students really like to work on the floor during independent and small group work. Giving a student choices will help them focus on the task instead of the discomfort of the classroom desks. I have chosen the table with the 4 floor chairs because it will be perfect for my centers that I create, it's amazing how much harder students work when they are at fun and comfy spaces. I can also see my kids working on the pillows with their clipboards on their independent work or quietly reading a book.
