We are a school of about 700 students in the low income town of Paterson, NJ. Our town is very diverse with over 20 languages spoken around our neighborhoods. I currently service English Language Learners/ Newcomers to the country at our school. Imagine moving to a foreign country where everything is new, different food, different people and a different language. Help us make the transition for our students a little easier by providing resources and materials needed to help them acquire the skills needed to be on grade level and learn the English language. Help me welcome them to our country and show them that by working hard we can truly obtain the American Dream!
