By allowing for flexible seating and offering options in my classroom, students will be more engaged and more successful. Students will be able to sit comfortably on the floor and closer to the Promethean board using the Flex-Space Comfy Floor seats. Students who need more activity will have access to the Flex-Space Balance Balls and Wobble Chairs. All of these will allow for students to stay focused on the task at hand while not being stuck in a traditional chair that doesn't conform to his or her needs. My hope is that by giving my students optional seating choices, they will take a more active role in their learning. Having access to these seats will allow for collaboration between students and facilitate the learning process.
