Organization is essential for students to be successful. That's why I believe a space that is engaging, captivating, and functional is key to having a smooth running classroom. I want my students to feel welcome and ready to hit the ground running! As a first year teacher and recent grad, it is difficult to obtain all of the supplies that I will need for my classroom without the help of generous donations. The many basic supplies I have included in this project to stock my classroom will allow my students the opportunity to create exciting projects and engage with one another on a daily basis. Students will be able to create interactive grammar notebooks, use the pocket organizers to store materials for group work, and use the carts and storage bins to store their reading and writing center materials.
Giving low income students the resources they so need will ensure that they will be engaged fully in the classroom. These donations will allow for them to focus solely on their education. I cannot wait to see my students happy and ready to learn!
