A library is the most important part of any classroom! Books give my students to chance to discovery their strengths, goals, and aspirations from reading! My classroom needs a library filled with books that my students love, books that my students can read, and books that will teach my students life lessons. As a new teacher I try my best to create a classroom library, but I need help overfilling my library! All of the books that I have listed are my students' favorites. Some of the books that I have requested are also at my students' reading level. Since I am a special education teacher, it is very important that my students are able to read books at their level. Other than favorite books and leveled readers, I also requested books about emotions and connections. These books will teach my students valuable life lessons. Overall, a classroom library helps to bring my students together by reading books that they love in a classroom that they feel comfortable in.
