My students are a group of hard working, enthusiastic boys and girls. They attend a public elementary school in suburban community of New York. My students come from different backgrounds and they all strive at school to create the successful future they want. My readers are Kindergarteners, 1st graders and 3rd graders. My youngest readers are just beginning in the literacy world and need a strong foundational background to support them as they grow their love for reading. My older students have struggled with reading for most of their student career and need support now before the gap grows further apart from their classmates. I want to support them by providing them with books and resources that they can learn and practice reading strategies with, but also materials that will help them in the classroom by supporting the classroom standards and curriculum.
