My students will be using the headphones with our new small-group set of Chromebooks during independent activities. With the increasing prominence of technology and students' interest in web-based resources, as opposed to paper, watching educational videos has become commonplace in the classroom. However, given the nature of stations, it is difficult for the computer-based group to focus on their tasks with the volume of others' learning preventing them from hearing the computer; the headphones will allow my students to focus!
This project will mostly help me in creating an environment that provides my students with opportunity and freedom to learn at their own pace.
I teach 2 Math and 2 science class, totaling to approximately 40 students. Organizing the materials and resources for each of these classes can be daunting, so the crates rolling shelf, and mailbox will provide me with the space I need to effectively store and collect my students' materials and classwork. Many of the students I teach are allotted certain accommodations to provide them with an equal opportunity to learn; the flexible seating will provide that opportunity for my students.
These supplies will not only give my students the fundamental supplies they need to focus on academic tasks but will provide them with a flexible learning environment that accommodates their needs. We will use the materials to become successful both inside and outside of the classroom, and we would greatly appreciate your support in doing so. Thank you!
