The Science activities that I have chosen are aligned with the Common Core state standards for science units that we need to teach throughout the year. We have no outdoor area for planting, and the see-it grow plant lab, as well as the life cycle viewer, will help students explore the life cycles of animals and plants. The aquarium will show them how to care for a classroom pet/living and non-living. They can read and learn about the animals with the informational books on CD using the listening center. Weather and exploring the five senses are also units that we learn throughout the year.
