I am privileged to teach High School English to an amazing group of students in rural Alabama. Because this is a rural community, sometimes students do not have the resources they need, but they more than make up for it in enthusiasm for learning. My students include Honors 9th graders who are learning to read critically and analyze literature and non-fiction to prepare for taking AP courses in the future. I also teach World literature to 10th graders who love to learn as long as I keep them motivated and engaged.
