The theme for my classroom this school year is the "Starbooks ELA Cafe". I want to transform my classroom space into a laid back atmosphere that has student learning and choice at the forefront of the set up. In order to ensure students are learning at a pace and position that is comfortable for them and compatible with their learning styles I am creating a flexible seating hybrid model. This will allow students to select (when appropriate) the type of seating option that allows them to complete their best work. In order for this to happen I need several seating options outside of traditional desks.
