I am a second year special education teacher for kindergarten and first grade students. When I started last year my classroom had no library at all. While I was able to purchase some books, and had some very generously donated, I would love to be able to grow my classroom library so that I have a diverse set of books that will engage my students and help encourage their love of reading. We read multiple books aloud every day in class and although they love to hear the stories over and over, I would so love to be able to expose them to more genres, authors, and experiences than what is in my current classroom library.
