The main reason for this project is to create a welcoming environment for my students. I am a first year teacher with an empty classroom, so I am starting from scratch. I will be using these materials to create bulletin boards for reading rotations, showing off awesome student work, focus walls, and word walls. I have also included basic materials such as scissors, markers, folders, erasers, etc. to ensure that even my students who do not arrive on the first day with supplies do not have to worry about anything they need. My students and I are beyond grateful for anything that is donated to us.
