I am requesting chromebooks so that my students have an opportunity to learn 21st century learning skills and apply them daily. Additionally, this will allow me to give immediate student feedback using Google Classroom and NewsELA Pro -- two programs are school is committed to using. Currently our 600+ student school has about 150 chromebooks shared across the building. However, during months-long state testing, we have no technology available for classroom learning. Chromebooks aren't teachers, but they support strong nonfiction literacy teaching. Please consider donating to get a partial class set going. Once this is funded, I can apply for more computers to get a full class set of chromebooks.
